"Ordered delivery from here for the first time. Were told they did not have a website so we just talked our way a bit through the menu with the person answering the phone, and placed our order. We asked that they send a take-out menu along so that we would have more information the next time around. Delivery man came, and he was very friendly. He didn't have a menu to leave us, but then advised that they did have a website, which he wrote down for us. It is basic, with just the menu items, but that's what we were looking for. The pizza and baked lasagna were... ok. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with them either. I'll admit a tad uninspiring, but acceptable."

"We came in at an odd time of the day while sightseeing, so the place was a little dead. Still, we got great service (don't know his name since it isn't on the receipt, but he was #208). Just wanted some snacks and beers. I'd definitely recommend the Artisan Meat and Cheese Board, which was outstanding and went well with the beer. We next ordered the Salmon Sampler, which I was excited about, since I love salmon. Not so much. They had a salmon paddy (like a crab cake with salmon) which neither of us liked. The smoked salmon was good. Place is very cool and located in an amazing area of Gastown, so if you get by the windows or on the second floor, this will be fun for you to people watch."

"A lovely eclectic french-vietnamese fusion, the food was great. However, it's close quarters and I would have provided more stars if I'd been offered a coffee refill, or if staff hadn't been lurking ready for me to vacate the table the minute the last mouthful was down."

"Placed an order for 2 pizza's and a salad- a bit pricy but always want to support local small business. Was told 25 mins. Arrived after 25 mins and was told it would be 5 mins- paid by credit card and stepped out and came back a few minutes later. I was told it was still going to be 10-15. Restaurant had no more than 6-7 customers. I decided to sit at the bar and wait and was completely ignored by staff- after another 25 mins I asked about the status from the manager and overheard the cook say that he hadn't started the order. The manager then walked off with no apology, no explanation. There also was no attempt to provide customer service ( ie- we will rush the order, would you care for a drink.. Nothing!)I then cancelled my order and said I would go somewhere else- NO customer service was again provided ( ie so sorry, we are short staffed, our ovens broken, we are catering a huge group of invisible people..nothing!) Even though I paid with credit, The cook said that he had to give cash and he then pulled $60 out of his pocket and gave it to the manager (which is a whole other issue, handling money while cooking, but what do I know..) who then proceeded to attempt to get change from other staff in the restaurant... He even had the gall to not give me the exact amount (they technically still owe me .34). I was so appalled that I just walked out. Waits and mix ups happen- that's not what made it appalling- it was the wait with no customer service that will ensure that I never go back to this place. Very disappointing!"
