"My crab cake was just okay. It had a sourness to it. Maybe too much lemon mixed in? The risotto wasn't as creamy, as it was sticky. The vegetables were limp and overcooked. I didn't eat them any more than to taste them. The quantity of food was very good. The peanut butter porter was outstanding!! Great little waitress. Very friendly. I liked what the menu offered; American fare, nothing unapproachable. The soups were good. The pimento cheese spread was good and a nice free starter. I'd go back. Although the food wasn't brag worthy, it certainly was good. A decent, friendly, clean, moderately priced restaurant in the Haymarket area. The name threw me off, though. Culinary, to me, meant it would be unique and maybe high end style meals. Underground also, to me, said something unique and maybe even so good I'd want to keep it a secret so the place wouldn't get so crowded and I could always get it. The food was more on a par with Applebees. Still. A decent place downtown."

"We made a reservation at the bar. We arrived and were told that it would not be honored. We were seated in a back “dining” room that appeared to be a room they have for banquets, group events, etc. There were open seats at and around the bar when we arrived and when we left. The ambiance of the back room was lacking. The servers were attentive and working hard. The food was overpriced and mediocre. I can’t remember the last time I had to salt my food in a restaurant. Watch out for the ahi tuna nachos. You get 5 nacho chips for $16! Wine and beer selection were mainstream- not special. All of us diners in this back room looked disappointed, as if we’d been sent to the time out corner. This place is way overrated for the lackluster quality of the food and ambiance. And it is lame that they don’t honor their open table reservations."

"By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been. The food tasted fresh and homemade as if we were invited to dinner at Grandma's house for Sunday! The spaghetti was incredibly delicious! I got the villa and it was great and our son got a pizza that was just as good. The fried ravioli with marinara oh my goodness! Our waitress was amazing! Everything about this place was wonderful. I traveled for work and so far the best place I tried in Illinois, even better than the famous Italian place where we went to Chicago. Definitely a diamond in the rough."

"The young lady had gone and took my order. It took 20 minutes, though she said it will be about this time. But it was worth waiting... the Buffalo is so good. If you decide to order the Buffalo Patty, you can order it to any style of Burger on the menu. You eat outdoors when you decide to sit outside, which is a pretty terrace, for downtown Lincoln Nebraska. Buzzard Billy's reminds me of TGIF's restaurants with all the vintage items on the wall. Parking is hard to find here in Lincoln. I can't imagine the weekends trying to find a parking lot. The building is old and old I love. The architect is very beautiful."

"We had an awesome date night there last night. Everything we ordered was fantastic as per usual, the Martinis are bomb. Our server Brian was nice, friendly, attentive and on point.
