"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"The Capital Grille has a very nice atmosphere. Food and service are excellent. We had the Tomahawk-Veal Cup, lamb cups with Brussels sprouts and potatoes. Appetizer was a salad and mussels. Again, all servers were very attentive and you can say that they like to serve their customers. Thanks again for the warm welcome and dessert. We recommend The Capital Grille."
