"I 've been here probably four times over the years and never had a complaint; finally getting around to reviewing. To be fair, I 've only ever ordered the Southern board and mixed drinks. This past time, we went for a friend 's birthday and our group of seven all seemed pleased with their meals. I also finally ordered the cheese grits and enjoyed them immensely. If I had to pick something wrong , our waitress seemed a bit cold and exasperated but warmed up and by the end of the meal, was very pleasant. One other suggestion would be to get some draft beer that isn 't Proof. Tally has a few other (better) breweries that I 'd like to see appearing on local taps."

"This restaurant offered a different menu called the Special Event Menu because it was Florida State University's Parents' Weekend. The selection was limited and prices higher, which we did not appreciate. Their usual menu was not available, even upon request. If a restaurant is going to offer a limited, pricey menu to its patrons, it should inform those who made reservations of that fact. To find it out upon arrival was unsettling and akward for our group. We were treating everyone and no one really wanted to be spending big bucks on entrees. Almost all of us ended up ordering an appetizer pizza as our meal there only was perhaps one entree choice below $20 and that was for a burger. This is not the type of restaurant that can command such high prices either. If we knew of this pricey, limited menu, we would have made reservations elsewhere."

"Visit started well. Handled drink orders very nicely. Meals were ordered and one guest made a request to modify presentation. Specifically very light sauce on the pasta. The meal that was served was swimming in sauce. When the stealth server finally returned he inquired whether the guest wanted the meal wrapped. Made no query as to why only the chicken was eaten. An uneaten plate full of pasta, swimming in sauce raised no red flags. The guest was too polite to make an issue out of this with friends from Texas as the guests. She did comment after leaving that she never wished to return and I am certain she shared her observations with all three bridge clubs this week."
