"The best place in AYR! If you want to eat Tom Yum Kung, this is the place! It has a lot of ingredients! What bothers me about Pad Thai is that the noodles sometimes change. "First of all, we picked this place based on the reviews on this website (i think the owner must have written these reviews)......wish we had taken the low scoring reviews as more representative as it was truly a disgusting experience worst meal i have ever had in my life.....promise! so we ordered the lamb rack the ribs. where to start.....oh well lets start at the lemonade with lime cordial.........or what was received the lemonade and green cottees lime cordial. next the lamb rack....so this was horrible. the mash was cold and has the skins all mashed through it. the vegetables were overcooked and the carrots were not even peeled, tasteless, then the red wine sauce.......i thought my red wine sauces were bad but this was something else, it was pink and runny and just had this overpowering winey taste. but the worst part of this meal was the lamb itself, ill go out on a limb here and say it was already cooked and reheated in the microwave as it was beyond well done dry and miserable. the other meal, the rack of ribs......again like before I will say they were par cooked and microwaved at the end as they had no flavor what so ever and were tough as old boots (yet as hot like the face of the sun). the sauce that was slapped over the top of them was pretty much 100% vinegar with bacon chunks.......well that 's all we could taste. the best part of the meal was the chips (straight from the packet into the deep fryer how sad). It was that bad I felt embarrassed for the chef . Please take it from me, avoid this place. go to the pub, we went there on the second night and it was FAR better. oh and that dinner we had at this place cost $75+ the pub was $50."
