"Good lunch time quick bite as usual just like back in the days when I use to study that. <br/ Their noodle soup is unique and I think it’s a flavour you prob can’t get any where else in New Zealand. And still to this day u can get a free bowl of chicken bone when you eat there! <br/ Cheers for bringing back good memories! <br/"

"Small and cozy place to dine in. The waitresses were very friendly and the chef was kind to put half BBQ half creamy chicken katsu for me as they ran out of the creamy sauce and informed me about it when I ordered. The chicken katsu was crispy, I preferred the creamy sauce over the BBQ one as it had a sweet taste to it. A suggestion would be to replace the fries and add more vegetables to balance the dish. I agree that the fries made the dish more filling but it did not suit well in my opinion. They had a lot of sauces ready for customers to self-serve. A water machine was used so customers might have to get up from their table to get water. Overall, good value for good food and nice people to dine with."

"I went there with 2 of my omni friends. I wasnt quite sure if they would know what vegan is, so instead started ordering by asking for the things i know idont eat to be swaped or out, she quickly said “oh are you vegan?” when i said yes she was super confident making suggestions to make dishes vegan. Tried the vegetable fried rice(no eggs), vegetable chow mein (she suggested to swap the egg noodles for rice noodles) AMAZING chow mein with those thick ribbon rice noodles, and the fried tofu and vege dish. All delicious and good size portion to share. She also came to me saying they are working on a vegan menu! So will be looking for it next time i come down this way."

"My go to place for healthy and good quality Asian food. I've been frequenting this place for a good many years now,it being so close to the University.<br/>They serve a wide range of yummy delights, with gluten free and vegan options available.<br/>My favourites have always been the chive crepes with the family's locally grown salad, the vege rolls with beef or chicken, the stewed pork belly noodle soup, homemade dumplings, all topped with a good dose of hot chilli sauce.<br/>It can get quite crowded around the lunch hour and popular amongst students and lecturers alike.<br/>Formosa Delight is owned and run by a sweet Taiwanese couple that grow all their own vegetables so the salads are always amazingly fresh and crunchy. The service is good and you'll always get a smile.<br/>Prices are good too."
