"I can only write about the take away menu and find myself agreeing with the majority of reviewers that the food served here is really authentic and highly tasty. Have eaten in Thailand and this is far superior. The take away is worth a visit and when things get back to normal I will be visiting for a restaurant meal. Oops almost forgot every time I have been here the quantity is too large and not sure if I should put what's left over in the fridge or better still in the freezer. Be warned."

"Went here a few years ago and really enjoyed it so we decided to have a takeaway. Firstly, staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful and I can't fault them at all. Restaurant was also OK, a bit tired in decor but clean and welcoming. The food was really expensive though and when we got home we found the portion sizes were mean and the take away tubs were only half filled. The ribs were burnt, they actually tasted like they had been cooked in the deep fat fryer for ages were overly brittle. The prawn toast was so greasy when you bit into it the oil dripped down your fingers and the edges were very burned from being in a deep fat fryer too long. The ginger beef was overpowered by the ginger, its all you could taste and was cut thick and chunky so was really unpleasant in texture. The beef was grey and chewy. The duck and the hoison sauce was cold when we opened it and just didn't seem very fresh, again looked like it had been cooked in a deep fat fryer. The best thing was the crispy seaweed but came in the TINYEST tub, was literally one spoonful each. Had we known the portion sizes were going to be so small we would not have bothered. Finished still feeling hungry and disappointed with both the food quality and quantity, especially having had to leave the ribs and prawn toast, they really were very unpleasant."

"I visited the roommates with friends for our Christmas dinner. we had ordered beforehand in the Christmas menu, which was a varied choice. my lunch of röstlamm was fantastic, and 3 others had the Christmas cake that was just as good. the pub was very busy and the staff was friendly, efficient. a great visit as always, fantastic eating, good value for money. will be back for another visit."

"I had to create my own banquet, which is £19.99 pp and eat as much as they can. the starters came for my friends, but I didn't get my prunks and when I asked it, the man didn't want to give it to me and I never got it, so my friend gave me one of them. disappoint them eating was great."

"These chinese were recommended to us although others said it was only “OK” the website for this site says they are open until 11.00 clock and it is called “Feel free to browse our online menu, unfortunately at this time they can not order online, but call...us on xxxx for collection or home delivery”. it also means that lunch can only be ordered by phone. So we arrived late on the last Saturday for a week holiday and went about 10 o'clock to order food for the six of us. my man went in with our command. “No, they cannot order personally,” he said, “just by phone”. That's not what they say. So he went and stood outside and arranged the restaurant. he could hear the phone ring and the girl stood right next to him – ignored it. he arranged a few times more and the third time the message changed to “We are now closed”. this was nowhere near 11.00 clock and it was a Saturday night. what a terrible disregard for customers. a great thank you to china at lees, who took over our order and that eating was very good."

"Honestly food was amazing, can’t fault that at all! But the customer service was appalling, we turned up to an empty restaurant at 5pm asking for a table for 2, and was initially told there were no tables. After saying we wanted to eat right away, we got a table and sat down. Starters were lovely, mains came and I ordered a burger with chips, and it felt like I was asking for the world when I requested some Mayo. They didn’t check whether the food was okay half way through, when we asked for the bill, they came over to collect the mains and didn’t ask whether we enjoyed the food. Service charge added straight away, so we removed as I didn’t feel it was deserved. Weird atmosphere, but couldn’t fault the food!"
