"I came here for the first time at my visit to oslo and I loved this place so much. the atmosphere of this place is amazing and cozy (the inner is my favourite place). I first ordered a prosecco and olive, then a chicken carving and for dessert I ordered an eplekake (apple cake). everything was really delicious, even the staff was really friendly and welcoming. I will come back in definitiw and in the meantime I can recommend 100%"

"Very disappointing experience. We were 6 friends that ate lunch her during a Saturday. We went here as I never tried the restaurant before. We ordered scrimp sandwich, fish soup, and clams. The sandwich had little taste and it seemed the chef didnt have much...time to prepare it nicely. Looked more like a scrimp salad with a bit of bread. The fish soup had taste but salmon in fish soup is not good as salmon has a too dominant taste. The clams were probably the only food, which was actually tasty. The service was below average and chaotic. Firstly you have to line even though you ordered a table at a specific time. From when we were sitting down it took up to 10 mins before they took our first drink order. They were not interested into selling us more to drink as we always had to signal when we wanted more. We had to ask for bread even though we all got butter and butter knives on the table. Salt and pepper was not here either. The waiter had a tendency to leave our table in the middle of the ordering. Like he suddenly had some more important things to do. It didnt seem like he understood us. Maybe because of a Swedish-Norwegian language barrier? To his defence the acoustic is horrible. The noice level gets really high so its hard to hear each other talk on the table. We ended up with signaling to the apprentice-waiter that we wanted to order food. And after that several waiters came up to us and asked us if we were ready, which signals that they dont communicate to each other. We felt bad for the apprentice as it looked like she was just thrown out there without any follow up and in-field guidance. All of the waiters seems young and inexperienced. They all seemed stressed. Yes, it was a lot of guests but the restaurant was far from full. We also asked for the wine menu, which they gave us in the end. But there were no follow-up if we wanted to order some wine. Im general a very clumsy, passive and lack of paying attention to the guest service. Maybe the restaurant survives on the name and the location. Latter is just amazing with a view over Oslo. So maybe they dont need to offer good food and service? Because this is a money machine anyway? Please save your money and go somewhere else. Oslo has a lot of nice restaurant where they actually care about you as guests. If you want the view, then just have a small walk up the love-path without having to visit the restaurant."
