"The night we visited there were very few customers so presumably the kitchen was not overrun. Our food was very disappointing, the starter of haggis bonbons was not particularly warm and the Caesar salad was tasteless apart from the flavour from the smoked chicken. The steak was good but the gnocchi was tough and chewy and very obviously not homemade not that it claimed to be), most of it was left uneaten. The staff were excellent and very friendly."
