"Recently I had lunch at Johnny's diner in Hudson, Ohio. Johnny's Diner is located on the west side of the Hudson Plaza Shopping Center. When you enter Hudson on Main Street/Darrow Road, turn west on Streetsboro Street. Hudson Plaza Shopping The center is located on the south side of Streetsboro Street. In Hudson Plaza Shopping Center there are many free parking spaces available under the PHOTO tab. I appreciate Johnny's diner five stars for the true diner decoration and for the waiting staff. Karen is my waitress. She is friendly and enjoys her work. She's the only waitress on the ground today. At the end of April 2022, she wears a face mask. The only Diner worker wearing a face mask. There is a greeting that welcomes you and takes your beverage order. She is also friendly with a great, sincere smile. A third person, perhaps the manager, helps Karen by bringing the food to the table and also helping the greeting bus the tables. Johnny's diner decor is authentic and nostalgic for the customer of a certain age. The counter-seats bring back loving memories of the ol' Ben Franklin Five and Dime Mittagstheken. The only article missing from the stands are the ol' wall mounted mini juke boxes with the small metal tabs to get through the pages of the song lists. Each cabin has a glass container with drinking straws like jateryear. As a reminder of our Covid times, there are Plexiglas partitions between each stand. There are authentic timepieces on the walls of old oil company metal characters, classic pictures of James Dean, etc. Very cool stuff! My overall rating for Johnny's Diner is four stars. The food tastes good, but is not excellent. You have a good selection of options on your menu. I liked the portion size. Unlike most restaurants today, Johnny's Diner does not serve you a humble part of the food. This is my first visit to Johnny's Diner. The diner has a good and steady customer flow. Some families and older people. Besides, people came to the diner to take orders away. Johnny's Diner has many loyal, regular customers. Johnny's Diner is not a fat spoon diner. Johnny's Diner is very clean. A nice, friendly diner for breakfast or lunch. I started my lunch with a cup of Johnny's famous chili. It's a thick, fleshy chili with pinto beans. I chose the onions and Chedder cheese to cost extra. I had an unsweetened iced tea to drink. My sandwich is Route 66 Cheesesteak. It comes with soothed mushrooms and onions and mozzarella cheese on a hoagie roll and a choice of the side. I've selected a page of Koleslaw. The food tasted good."

"What an absolute joy to have this wonderful spot in Hudson! I’ve always loved their goods but was inspired to leave a review today because of just how amazing they are! It was my mom’s birthday today and while she’s not one for a big celebration I wanted to make it a little special we stopped by and they not only had slices of a beautiful vanilla layer cake with gorgeous fresh strawberries, but to make sure everyone in our group was included they also had slices available of the best gluten free cake I’ve ever had! It was a rich and velvety dark chocolate cake with a delightful raspberry frosting our gluten free guest swore it was the best they’ve ever had, and upon having a bite myself I would’ve never guessed there was ever anything missing! Service was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and lovely helpful ?I came in for a quick slice of birthday cake for my mom who would rather not celebrate but I was so enthralled with it all I left with the perfect slice for Mom, the cutest pink flamingo birthday candle, a slice of gluten free dark chocolate cake, a divine brown butter blueberry muffin for myself, and even grabbed a vanilla caramel macron to satiate my immediate craving amongst this dreamy space filled with everything one could possibly want to celebrate a special occasion or satisfy a sweet tooth!I’ve adored this shop for ages but their ability to perfect my day inspired me to leave this review (I love them even moreso now that I know that they have the most delicious gluten free option I’ve ever tried I would (and will) happily serve this to all my guests for future celebrations)!!I love Nine Cakes and hope they never leave our little city of Hudson ????"

"Must stop in the area and great vibe! Good beer at a great price with excellent service from the entire staff. New building, with great patio space and great inside space! Allow for sample pours at 2-3oz which I would recommend before getting a pint. French Toast was unique and would get more in the fall/winter; I thought that Exit 4 Cream Ale was excellent! The pizza might be the best along with the nachos for an app and you will spend more time at this brewery because of it! Highly recommend!"
