"I must say that we were pleasantly surprised. at the beginning, the entire plant is renovated and everything is in the disarray. there is currently only one handful of tables in the restaurant. the plans look very exciting and I understand it should be open in a few months. back to eat. the hot brown was excellent and the berkshire pork chop was really good with apples, fingering kartoffels and a pickled cabbage plate. the menu is a little small, but everyone around us seemed to comment on the high quality of food."

"Moody Mike’s is absolutely fantastic. Everything I’ve eaten from them ranges from “really good” to “excellent,” and the menu rotates pretty often so there’s almost always something new to try. My favorite dish here is probably their reuben, but seriously you can’t go wrong. Their oatmeal cream pies are also to die for. They’re listed as a food truck here, but they’re almost always located somewhere that allows for indoor and/or outdoor seating. I’ve caught them mostly behind the Pasta Garage (you can sit inside the Pasta Garage) or at Pivot Brewing (my fav, where I can bring the food in and have a beer)."

"Never in fancy pastry shop, I bought some dinge to try and I was not disappointed! I was greeted by two of the sweetest, most pleasant young ladies, who had impeccable manage. “Yes, Ma’am”, “No, Ma’am” and “Thank you, Ma’am” rolled so easily from their tongues, I’m sure their mamas are quite proud of them. what the goodies I took after home, I can't even tell them what I liked best, but the apfelsitter I had tonight will surely be an breakfast book – I can hardly wait until tomorrow! I am so very happy that my friend (who comes from bryson city to buy cake) recommended to load this. I can see why they've been in operation since 1969. I am pleased to support a family business. the customer service makes the difference!"
