"The food here is fresh. The staff are great. During the week they have daily specials. The serve breakfast, lunch and dinner(if want something small. I like the turkey sandwich on multigrain. Just recently they made a new cookie with white chocolate."

"I figured from their endless browned potatoes that it may be a real find, but unfortunately, not so much. The home fries were cooked very well (nicely browned) but they’re very bland. The cooking oil that they use doesn’t seem to impart any flavour, nor are there any detectable seasonings, onions or peppers. 3 of the 4 slices of bacon were very limp only one was approaching the level of crispiness I like. They also should have stated that the waffles are Belgian. They were under staffed today. Considerable delays in ordering, coffee refills."

"Another Sunday another brunch in Vancouver and we chose Catch 122. We ordered the mango passion fruit youlgurt parfait (Greek yogurt ricotta cheese mango passionfruit compote house-made granola with nuts fresh berries) and this was delicious. We then ordered the mushroom bagel with poached eggs which my husband said was good. We also ordered the salmon bagel which was good but both of us are not fans of hollandaise. I would have loved to have tasted the banana bread and maybe next time. Overall, a good brunch experience and it was a busy place but service was good."

"The service was so slow! It wasn 't even a busy afternoon. There were two waitresses and they were both absent minded. When I looked for my waitress, she was just chatting with the other waitress. I saw her scan the room and completely didn 't see me. I held my hand up and she still didn 't see me. Usually you don 't need to say Excuse me across the room to get a server 's attention. She never checked in during the meal either. I ordered online recently and it was also slow. They were one hour late and forgot the cheese. It was 9:30pm when our good arrived! After these two bad experiences, I am hesitant to revisit. I wanted to support an old local business, but it just isn 't worth it. Old decor and terrible music too."

"Limited menu but meals were fine. Service was good, but not busy anyway. Restaurant had air con so cold. staff seated us somewhere else immediately but still cold. Restaurant seemed quite sterile and absolutely no ambience"

"I love Jam Cafe!!! Best fried chicken for brunch in Vancouver and Victoria. The Gravy Coop is my go-to dish - it's fried chicken on top of a biscuit with gravy. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. The downside is is the long line-ups but if you get there first thing in the morning you can avoid that."

"Very nice restaraunt. Inside and outside seating. The staff are very friendly and gave excellent service. We had the Pasta Bolognese, the smoked salmon pizza and Golden Beet Salad. Would recommend any of the above."
