"We visited Glendale Gardens today, and after exploring the lush and beautiful grounds, we stopped for a late lunch in this charming and unpretentious cafe. It’s part of the Gardens but you can visit the cafe without entering the gardens (if wonderful gardens aren’t your...thing). The menu (breakfast and lunch only) is limited but really appealing. We tried the oatmeal pancakes; eggs with potatoes, herbs and spices; and the green pie. Everything was fresh, healthy and presented beautifully, adorned with edible flowers and fresh greens out of the garden. We sat outside under a beautiful arbor and vines, and enjoyed the sights and scents of a great atmosphere and local food. A perfect afternoon, and a great place to show off the charms of our beautiful locale to visitors."

"I just had the best experience at Frankie's. I am travelling with a small school group and I'm used to getting an exasperated look when we pull into a restaurant unannounced. Here we had the exact opposite experience. We were welcomed with open arms and smiles. Great meal. Beautiful view. The best orange juice I have ever had!"

"Appys were good but main course wasn’t so good . Sauce for pasta didn’t taste fresh and too thick. My boyfriend chicken was very dry and warmed up in microwave. My cocktail was delicious! Service was so so . We waited a long time before being asked for breuvage. She never came back and asked how was our meal . And the host didn’t think of asking if we were parked in the underground parking. Good thing we thought about it . View was very beautiful! Next time we’ll only go for cocktails and appys"

"The restaurant is located in the lobby of the busy hotel. we were the first to make it on the terrace in that night brave (although we were soon followed by others). the terrace had a lot of heating and was very comfortable. we loved our eating and especially the cocktails. she would definitely try again."
