"First the young black lady came to the table dropped off the salads and said, whoever got salads her you go. Then left. I was given the incorrect food not once but twice. After I had taken two to three bits of what I thought was my food I was told it was my friend’s food. Instead of offering her a new order we were told to just switch and eat after each other. So I switch and then told the waitress my food was backed not fried and I just got a blank stare. Again I had to switch with another member of our party after we both were eating the wrong order. No offer to make new meals nothing! Then behind me I hear the young black female tell that table, “I don’t know who gets what gravey, but you guys can figure it out!” This restaurant is too good to lose business because their wait staff doesn’t really care about the service they provide. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere great. I gave the waitress a $35 tip because I knew I would never be back."

"If you are looking for a great German food, this is a great place to visit. We had the pumpkin Ginger Soup, Fried Artichokes and a German Pretzel with a special diving sauce OUTSTANDING! And for Entrees: Spicy Eggplant Schnitzel and German short bands, both were tasteful and delicious a must stop when in the area It was a very picturesque that was a plus."

"I came out with three German men who are family friends for one night. Just on the edge of a small town I doubt many foreign tourists who make their way here. Part beer hall, part restaurant, part pub, it is a bit difficult to arrange this place, except as 100% authentic. Not quite sure how we did it, but I had 2.5 liters of beer tonight and didn't feel bad at all. Must be because they brewed everything on the grounds and did this for 260 years. Somewhere in all this cheerful evening I also remember getting a small plate of pimples, bread, pulpits and mustard. I am very pleased to have a souvenir glass beer stone here!"

"The Mac and the cheese were amazing and it is a must try. I loved it. The porridge balls in mushroom sauce were also very good. The sauce was rich and creamy. The pretzel we got from the appetizer menu was so soft and warm. Like my German friend, the vegetarian dishes we had here are very authentic. You have great beer options here."

"The biergarten has several rooms to handle larger groups. I was there with 8-15 people in my group every night. The curry wurst was my favorite item. I had never had this before and found it quite tasty and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is charming. The beer is tasty and staff very friendly. Most speak English so communication was not difficult. A good restaurant in a good hotel. :)"
