"We have been in Positano for 8 days and have tried many restaurants. The food in many of the restaurants was just okay, and we are not picky eaters or food snobs, just wanted good italian food. This place was reccommended to us by a local chef for a cooking class we took. We came here on our last night in town. OH MY GOSH it was truly the best meal we have probably ever had. We shared the mussels for an appetizer and then we had the Fresine with Lobster!!! WE got to pick our lobster (which I felt bad and thanked him). We shared a wonderful bottle of prosecco and enjoyed the evening view on the beach from our table. Our waiter Rafael, was fabulous, he took amazing care of us even though he got really busy with other tables. The prices we very reasonable... We had eaten at the restaurant next door on our first evening and that was not enjoyable at all, no comparison.. I would reccommend this to anyone looking for great food and a nice atmosphere. You should know that there is no host stand, so you just walk in and ask to be seated which confused us a little bit. If you wait around out side of the sitting area you won't really get noticed, so walk right in and ask..."

"Ordered two glasses of Pinot Grigio, the waiter comes and starts pouring some Italian blend without asking if that was ok, for a Michelin star restaurant this is crazy. The eggplant parm and mixed vegetable salad appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The two pastas ensuing were a major disappointment. The potato pasta was mediocre at best, basically a bowl of liquid cheese with tiny noodles and chewy bits of pork. The tagliolini reminded me of ramen noodles with spinach, very basic. Finally the blu fish entre was so salty we could hardly eat it. I don’t know who they paid to receive their Michelin star but I have had much better food at small hole in the wall restaurants in Naples. Save your money and go elsewhere."

"Lovely restaurant in the heart of the amalfi coast. The food was absolutely delicious, can’t leave without trying their aubergine parmigiana and cannolis. The service was super kind and accommodating, made us feel at home. They have a wide local wine selection and a fantastic sweet wine from the region and plenty of local dishes to choose from. Fantastic dining experience, definitely recommended."

"We appreciated the free shuttle but the driver chatted with a lady in the car on the way up to the restaurant and completely ignored us. On arrival at the restaurant, the other couple and their dog were hastened along the pathway to the restaurant, leaving us behind. I cannot walk fast and we weren't sure where to go. On reaching the restaurant, we again felt ignored. It was a good 15 to 20 minutes before we were offered a drink and a further 15 minutes after that to get them. In the meantime, our travel companions had drinks and their first course. I am a dog person and have dogs but the attention given to this one was ridiculous. I had booked this restaurant on a recommendation and expected something special. The food was ok at best. I thought I'd experience a dining wow but absolutely not. The starter and main were very pretty but bland. The tiramisu dessert was tart. It tasted/seemed burnt. We then had another gallop back to the transfer vehicle, which made me very uncomfortable. The food, for me, was not at all special in taste although well presented. Can't argue with that. I think the experience was tarnished by the feeling we weren't trendy enough, too old. In fact, I felt really uncomfortable. We didn't get the amazing views as our hotel booked the table for 7 which was far too late to see the sunset. Not the restaurant's fault obviously but further upset the evening. Drinks were ridiculously over priced. We eat out at similar restaurants regularly but won't return here. Also, please ask your staff not to pet dogs at the table and then bring my food. When the bill is 175 euros for two I don't think that's unreasonable"
