"A very nice bar and restaurant that attracts mostly local people. I ate at the bar 2 nights in a row as it was so good. The owner(? took the time to present all of the dishes they had available and was very patient with my poor Spanish. The food was excellent, I recommend the fish stew, prawns and baked apple desert. It would be 5 stars but one of my dishes was a little overpriced (20 euros for fish with 1 potato . The rest were very good value and filling."

"After parking for the ferry we needed to eat as we had not eaten since the evening before. Being pasta I decided this was a good quick choice. The restaurant is on the front and the menu looked OK , even though we are not...massive pizza pasta lovers. The waiter was good and friendly but was a tad overworked looking after all the outside tables. We ordered drinks and our meals I ordered the telephone' pasta which was basically a pasta with tomato and mozzarella. This arrived quite a bit before my husbands pizza with mushrooms and crispy' pancetta. I had to ask for some olives which the nice waiter got from the bar next door! And times I asked for black pepper and some grated parmesan before it was given to me. My pasta was thick stodgy and glutinous and I had to chisel it off the bowl that it was stuck to. The sauce was fine but needed more seasoning and seeing spaghetti mixed up with it I did wonder what pot and spoon had been used to shovel it on the plate. My husbands pizza was floppy' and soggy with a distinct lack of crispiness in the soggy bacon! and there was far too much dough around the edge with not enough topping. It was edible but have had better supermarket pizza's for a third of the price, equally the so called flat telephone mess of pasta. The only reason I upped a star was the nice red wine, olives and waiter. Definitely a miss on our next visit in January, for over you can get better elsewhere in town."
