"This is where hipster meets great BBQ! Ambiance inside is not what I consider to be typical of a BBQ place, but it definitely works here since it’s in Old Colorado City. I had the two-meat combo consisting of burnt ends and pulled pork. Both had great flavor and tenderness."

"We would never eat here, but it was good. we've made some more to check the things. everything was delicious. we started with fried okra and hushpuppies. then we had garnel and geese, marmbalaya and red bean rice. we had done it. every piece of our meal was delicious. our waitress was very attentive and friendly. the service was fast. we will definitely be back and we will bring other people to enjoy the experience."

"Amazing aromas! The appetizer was a good sampler and the taste of the Dolmas, yum. The Shawarm plate was delicious as the lamb pot. But the desserts were ineffective. Her pistachio baklava was so good, best I ever had and then the Pecan cinnamon reminds me of a cinnamon roll. The shredded wheat was our least favorite, but it was still good. Could be a bit cooler inside and the handwritten, cross-outs and write Ins there was a lot, but just ask. Very friendly and will definitely be back. The flavors are simply wonderful!! The best meal we had in a long time. Note: It is not easy to see from the street and Apple cards have its location wrong."

"Food tastes great, staff is great, too. Stopped in here while passing thru in 2019 and again in 2022. Place hasn't changed and neither has the wonderful experience. Friendly staff, ample portions, fair prices. Mac and cheese was thick and delicious. Pulled pork was tender. I had a Doghouse and it was sweet and smokey. Their sweet tea is great, too. Brewed just like in the southern US. Whenever we pass thru The Springs, we'll be stopping here for lunch."

"I went in Easter evening for the ham dinner. Justin was my server. The ham was delicious (especially the glaze). I had mac cheese and cinnamon apples as my side. Super yummy!! For $14, j got the ham, two sides, and a cornbread and roll. This was a great value for the food I got, and I was extremely satisfied with my choice to come here for Easter dinner. I wanted dessert to go, and Justin recommended the banana pudding and monster cookie. I decided to get both, and while I haven’t tried them yet before leaving this review, they look delicious! Justin put the sauces for the cookie and vanilla wafers for the pudding in separate containers, which as a server myself, I acknowledge and appreciate the extra effort to preserve the quality of a to-go dessert. He also granted my request for some extra ham glaze and a soda to go. This was my first time here, and I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. This is a from-scratch kitchen which I love. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Justin, for the great hospitality and service."
