"During my trip to Portland came here for a Saturday dinner. The place was quite busy, but no waiting for about 9. We have a place. The place looked nice with a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the hangar steak and half of the Tagliatelle. The steak was perfect and so was the Tagliatelle with beef and pork ragu. That would definitely recommend. My wife took the bastard with one side of Laeks with butter and Parmesan. That was pretty good. The only negative and among things to improve was the service timing. Everything, but the pages were served and that took a very long time. (I finished my dinner when her side came). Otherwise it would have been a 5 star of me."

"Love this place! Had the roasted carrots and bacon wrapped dates for appetizers and we shared a mushroom pizza (added sausage) for dinner. The pizza had a vinaigrette base that made it tangy and delicious. The wines were very nice. I recommend the Barbera. We finished the dinner off with Tiramisu. An all time favorite desert."

"Wow. I’m a jaded Italian fan, and this was a magnificent sleeper. I’ll be back very soon to see if I can repeat the experience of a basically perfect Italian dinner.Atmosphere is “good”, but the food was fantastic."

"Really nice servers and ambience. However two of our theee main dishes were lukewarm. not sure why- there was a long wait between salad and mains. food was very goos- brief but interesting menu. we will be back!"

"In a city of foodie spots I am always looking for a real place that can really fit with the menu, and here it is! service leaves nothing to be desired, they are perfect, and they will not even realize until they leave that they were super attentive and never ask for water or something once. the eating was such a refreshing break from all the strange restaurants that shoot for the fusion kitchen moon, and everything was instead straight ahead and super tasty (except the pfefferoni, it is floor instead flattened but still amazing, only surprising). steak is cooked to its production and it is perfect. the wut reminds me that I warm up in the winter in my grandmother's house. Not sure if this place is on a PDX list, but he deserves to be packed...a hidden gem for now!"
