"The taxi dropped us off here, as it was difficult to find places to eat, on the way to Monserrate. I was given a tour of options, but the wonderful odours immediately invited me in. This appears a very basic restaurant, but the food surpasses all expectation.Water was cheap, and wine just twice the price for a glass. As the drinks were served, the few tables were filling up, which led me to believe a good choice had been made. My started was rollitos primavera - spring rolls. These were packed full of seafood and vegetables, in a glorious sauce and I devoured them in less than what seemed a second. My companion ordered the yucas a la huancaina, which were finished off equally fast. My main was shredded chicken, with crispy potatoes, olives and rice came with a sublime, yellow sauce. An excellent choice."
