"Went there a few weeks ago with my wife . The restaurant had been closed for years so thought we'd try it now it's reopened. The restaurant seemed to be frequented by a mix of portuguese and estrangeiros.The food was not great and the service was not good either. We ordered prawn avocado for starters. It took quite a time to come and as the kitchen door was open and we were sitting near I could see that the waitress was preparing it! Maybe they didn't have the kitchen staff. The dish wasn't that pleasant - they had put pineapple chunks in it which gave it a bitter taste. Next was the main. Lamb chops - these were minute, very thin and very tough servered with uninspiring salad and chips. My wife does not eat meat and therefore ordered the monkfish esadada. Unfortuately, this came with the pieces of fish wrapped in bacon! Nothing on the menu to indicate this. The house wine was good and so was the beer. It looked like the waitress was quite rushed and all of this time her boss was propping up the bar doing nothing - teamwork - eh? Probably won't go back."
