"Great location. Not over run by tourists like many places in town. We sat outside, lovely setting under trees. Our server was friendly but not very knowledgeable when asked about certain dishes on the menu. As it is asparagus season which only lasts max three months in Germany) most dishes had this veg as its main component. If you don't like them you have rally lucked out. The food was OK. Wine list good. The prices were on the high side. It will be a while before We go back, there are too many other excellent restaurants in Konstanz."

"They have a special allergen menu. a good selection! I had delicious minenstrone soup and spinach and pears risotto. panna cotta and cream brûlée were dessert options. Interior is really cool. nice staff. Very recommended!"

"This restaurant is a classic in constanz, founded a few decades ago and known for boerek, the Turkish "pizza calzone", which has become increasingly smaller in the course of the years, but in the grunde is still the same. very central location, but lame service, although not many guests are present and also not cheap, since boerek (classical would be either nr. 121 or 124 on the menu) now costs 12 €."

"Without reservation you can get a place in the defne very hard. I can't say why it is. at the appetizer for 5 people dominated quite clearly the natural yogurt (has taken 80% of the plate), and there were also a few gurken slices, olives and pepperoni. at the grill plate defne the lamb chop tasted like coal (because too long on the grill) after the load in the run of the evening was always full, the service was totally overwhelmed.I would also like to say that if you reserve a table for 5 people, you don't want to sit on a table for 3 people.Defne does not have to be again."
