"Invited down from the city we arrived reluctantly to a large family gathering. We went as a family of 5 to join the table of 17 set up near the fire which was a gorgeous touch amidst the trees and outside on the lawns and gardens. We had heard nothing on the place at all so were delighted at the magical Sunday arvo atmosphere which was enhanced by the mellow live music, wonderful food and good service provided by a team of country hearted staff who got the job done whilst or littlies ran amuck out in the paddocks nearby."

"This was just a really fun little place to explore and make some purchases. I found many almond (and also cashew) products that I'd never seen or even contemplated before. The owner of the almond train was very friendly and let us taste some of the nuts before purchase which was great fun. This was a short stop but a very enjoyable and tasty one"

"Travelling through McLaren Vale during the Sea and Vines Festival we came upon this Italian Restaurant. The staff were welcoming even though it was so busy, and the food was wonderful. Pizza's so authentic with crust that melted in your mouth. Very reasonably priced with a great menu including salad's and olive bread and just to make your mouth water Lamb Skewers to die for."
