"It's easy to miss Mattachione on Dupont, and the restaurant has relatively basic decor what it does have is outstanding food at great value. The pizza is what you find in Italy rather than North American chains, amazing crust and not overloaded with goopy...cheese so that you can actually taste and enjoy the ingredients. Excellent minestrone, solid choice of wines and beers, and the desserts don't disappoint either. We had bread with our soup, and the loaves are for sale too. A gem in the neighbourhood."

"On a snowy Monday night, I was definitely ready to just stay in. But lucky for me, my dear neighbour ZB encouraged a walk to Masseria, to try their Crudo pizza made right in front of us. We had a choice of regular, gluten-free or...Carbone vegetable carbon made into the dough), with buttery-soft, hand-shaved prosciutto. The manager, Richard, told us it is aged months. So delicious and baked in a wood-fired oven. Arugula balances the pizza. Communal length tables and a communal round table in front. To get in takes us up steps. Too narrow and high for mobility devices, if challenged. Washrooms are on the same level. Pristine marble is on the tables and the work area for staff. Would definitely recommend this and will be back to try other pizzas."

"My boyfriend and I came in just before close. We were informed it was a cpl mins before close. I offered for us to go somewhere else because I know what it 's like with last-minute customers and I 'd hate to be that person but our server was so nice and said that it 's okay. We just needed to have our order put in asap, which was fine. The food was so delicious. My boyfriend and I both had paninis and I 've never had something so simple have so much flavor. My boyfriend and I don 't go to Toronto often but the next time I do I will definitely be visiting this establishment again!"

"Pretty good steak sandwiches and also the chicken. However, I pass on the sauce as they seem to always put way too much. I still visit this place. Service is somewhat slow. Not a very good place if you're in a rush I've noticed. 30 minutes I've waited a few times for a simple sandwich. Calling in ahead won't make a difference also."

"I need to rehearse a few before they decide what to have. they list a series of very interesting / unique hearty aromas online; the day I was there, there was nothing to go out there, hay and karamell were very interesting and ended with. Blackberry/earth. the rhabarb croissant was a good size, delicious rhabarb filling, but the croissant was not wet at all and soggy. very good!"
