"Between our two Port-Celler tours we needed some lunch. Along the river on the Nova de Gaia side of Porto, there are TONS of restaurants catering for tourists... this is at the end of the main road (after the bridge), and worth the...extra 3 minutes walk. It's a bit more pricier than the others, but AGAIN... WORTH IT. We ordered cod butter that were the BEST we had here in Porto, followed by two steaks that were perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned (now this is a Christmas miracle) We had left the bread first, but after we saw the olive oil around my plate... I asked. Nothing on our plates was an afterthought (potatoes, vegetables) and we ended with a lemon tart (yummy)."

"We were in Porto for the day on a cruise. We had walked through the old town and down to the Douro riverfront. Having done the obligatory boat trip (very good by the way) we crossed the Luis 1 Bridge and were walking along past the various port houses which all look lovely. We walked up this small side street near the Sandemans port house and happened upon A Copo. What a find! A local wine bar associated with the Niepoort port house, it is wonderful. Very small (four tables inside, three table outside), and ludicrously good value. We had two main couses, four glasses of excellent wine, and four soft drinks, for the ridiculous price of only 19 euros. Positively one of the best finds of our whole holiday. The service was lovely and very attentive. We absolutely loved it. I think we were super lucky to just walk in and get a table, as it is very small, but we were very very impressed and rated it as one of the best finds of our holiday. If in Porto you should go here. Do it!"

"If you want a nice authentic place to have excellent seafood, this is the place to be. Grilled seafood, amazing big shrimps, perfectly prepared squid. All for a very reasonable price. The service was also very good and the waitress was very kind. I love...Porto!!!"
