"I don't know how they do it! Maybe it's the coal fire or the fresh handmade dough but the pizza is beyond amazing! The greens salad had me craving more. Don't get me started on the hummus! Whatever they are doing more places need to figure it out!The staff was great as well, very friendly!Will be back!"

"Hands down this is the best pizza you can buy in winnipeg. I have ordered every pizza on the menu and they are all awesome. They make their own sausages and cheese. Its thin crust cooked right on the stone of the oven. So good! Try the meat balls when you go. It has a patio and a small restaurant inside. A lot of the time it is full but you can pick up and your order is usually ready in 10 minutes. If you eat in though they also have super good desserts. The wine is awesome from Banville and Jones! Go and give it a try."

"Service and quality of food is always top notch at Bonfire. Getting to know the staff here we feel very comfortable dining here and especially now that proof of vaccination is required. I do miss the grilled Irish soda bread they used to serve. The...sour dough was okay but not as good. Salad was crisp and fresh and big enough for two to share. The Manitoba chicken on their regular menu is spectacular both in presentation and flavours (fig and goat cheese). I am not a potato fan but there was no problem getting it served with rice. Fresh veggies were excellent. Pasta specials are always interesting and tonight’s was hot and spicy…..chorizo, red pepper, chicken, scallions, black sesame seeds with chili cream sauce. Pear and prosciutto pizza was awesome as was the Margarita with the addition of kalamata olives!"

"I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful place ! Up the little flight of stairs is a wonderful oasis of cute little tables with flowers. Gorgeous ambiance Now as for the food, WOW. I don’t like olives but my husband convinced me to try one of their warm olives. Well, I’ve been converted to loving these olives. So good!! We ordered a second bowl.We had the battered mushrooms, market veg which was a fresh cucumber salad. My husband had the j chicken and I had the roost burger.Finished the fabulous meal with an amazing ice cream cake.Our server, Neda was just the sweetest !Answering our many questions and giving us fantastic service Thankyou so much !!"

"We went to Monticchio for a family birthday. While we have been there several times in years past we had not been back recently. The mussels, both Monticchio classics and Sambucca, were as amazing as we remembered. The food was hot and served in a timely fashion. But the hi-light for me was the older gentleman who wandered around the restaurant and greeted the guest by saying Bon Appetitto. I can only assume he was the owner (?). It made the Italian meal seem more authentic."

"Used washroom facilities at this Subway sandwich shop location while visiting the city from my home in Miami, MB. Cleanliness was excellent overall and it was apparent that the staff who worked at the store took pride in the condition of there Subway sandwich shop franchise.Once finished in the washroom, I decided to order a sandwich.I ordered a 12" inch tuna salad sandwich on Italian herb and cheese bread, with olives, pickles, tomato and onion. I chose ranch sauce.The sandwich was okay but the tuna was slightly fishy for my tastes. Next time I would probably decide on another sandwich, perhaps my usual 12" inch pizza sub on flat bread with double lettuce and sweet onion sauce.Will likely return to this location upon future visits to the city."

"Tried the super deluxe (my favorite , hot pepperoni, and wilted greens pizzas. The super deluxe and hot pepperoni packed great flavor, nice crust, and fresh ingredients. The wilted greens was good but could use a little more flavor (in the sauce? . Overall, great neapolitan pizzas. With the neapolitan style expect a molten center. Will be going here again, and will try to dine in to catch their Wednesdays 50% off pizza day. Can't wait to try more!"
