"Portions were ridiculously small. Ordered three tacos and chips with queso. The tacos were gone in two bites each, and the queso was served in what you could not even liberally call a bowl, more like a plate with a lid over the top (pic related), chips tasted store bought. Tacos were great, for the two bites I got of them, however I got sick after eating the shrimp taco. The shrimp itself was cold while everything else was warm and did not taste cooked through. Do not recommend. Fix your portion sizes and cook your food all the way through!"

"I've lived in the area for years and have stopped in to Sol a few times without ever finding a favorite dish. I tried them again recently and had a hamburger, not exactly the first thing that comes to mind in a place like this, and found it to be really good. This is my new go to spot for a non-fast food burger in town. The BBQ bacon burger is loaded with bacon, and the sauce is perfect."

"Barrio salad tasty BUT needs work, need to chop the lettuce small like the beans, corn, toppings. Must chop the Carne aside into bite size pieces as one can't cut it with a cheap plastic knife bent fork. Crumble the cheese like you did on the rice bowl. Otherwise it's just a huge pile of lettuce and all the best bits fall to the bottom. Disappointed."

"My daughter and I were in the city that visited a campus. we had to eat lunch and this place caught our eyes. it is located in an old building in the inner city, directly at the campus, surrounded by other restaurants and shops. we went around 12:25 on a Friday and no one was there. was worried at this point, but I am glad we stayed. burritos are very good. we had both the chicken ranch burritos- the coworker recommended it, and she was right! the chips are prepacked mission brand Tortilla chips - would have liked to have made chips in the house (of which 1 star subtracted) I had the mild salsa, and my daughter had the queen. both were very good. not much to sit there - only stool along the wall with a flat rule to eat it up. the restaurant was simple, but beautifully decorated. I thought eating was a bit expensive, but if everything has risen lately in the price, maybe that's the new norm. my daughter wants to participate in the u."
