"Twelve months later the coffee is still excellent and the sweet muffins sublime. Best muffins in Caloundra and surrounds. Iced coffee excellent, service excellent as were the cappuccinos, latte and berry smoothie. Worth the walk from Caloundra."

"I live in Brisbane and come to the Sunshine Coast most weekends to visit my parents. My mother is a regular at this coffee shop which is the only reason I go there. I have been several times and have always experienced unwelcoming, sour faced service. Today they really excelled in their sour faced service. I had a small dog on a lead with me, and stepped inside the coffee shop only to place my order and then walked back out. When I walked in, I was greeted with three sour faced women, was not acknowledge and I felt very awkward. I then asked nicely if I could order a coffee and felt like I had interrupted them. I then walked out with my small dog to wait for my coffee. I took a step inside as I was going to add some caked and coffees to my order. I then got told in a rude manner that I was not allowed to bring the dog inside. I accepted this. When the lady bought my coffee out, I told the lady that it was a very unpleasant cafe to walk into and everyone was very rude. To my shock, the lady replied and said 'You are rude! You walk into here with you dog! Dogs are not allowed' I told her that she only had to tell me that, not give me rude looks and treat me in an appalling manner. She then added ' You also interrupted me while I was writing, how rude was that!' Sorry lady, I interrupted you because I was not greeted and I was unsure if I had walked into a coffee or if I was at someone's funeral!! I am a happy and polite customer and have never ever been treated in such an appalling manner. This coffee shop does not know a thing about customer service!! Never again will I be back and if you want a nice pleasant place to have a coffee, this definitely is NOT the place."

"Huge meal of ribs and chips and a small basic salad. My husband and I ordered a pizza just in case but could only eat one piece each and took the rest home. Ribs were so tender - the meat just fell off the bone. Pizza had a perfect base and was delicious"

"We have never eaten at the Coffee Club as to be honest, we find the menu quite expensive. But after a walk on the beach we saw that they had a breakfast combo special. It was great! $9.90 for a delicious breakfast burger and small hot drinks. The breakfast castle was full of delicious bacon, spinach, tomato relish and a perfectly cooked egg. The Chai Latte was so delicious. Will definitely be back. It was certainly a big incentive to take us to the door. Love the amazing view of the water. All the staff I spoke with were nice and friendly and very helpful. Only negative was that no one brought us cutlery or napkins, but that was not a big deal to ask and it was delivered immediately."
