"I had the Omelette and it was very nice. This recipe was different to my last omelette and a definite improvement. The flat white was also nicer and in a smaller cup. Nice."

"We booked a couple of weeks before our holiday to be sure to have a table. So glad we did as we saw so many people turned away as they were fully booked. Service was very efficient and friendly. A nice relaxed atmosphere too. Will definitely book again."

"Lovely coffee staff friendly.....but we thought expensive £12 for a tea...oat latte and a piece of cake. Generally we have been charged around £9 at other coffee shops for the same......also 75p for oat milk most we have ever paid!!!! No need for that price"

"Having read the reviews I had high expectations.. unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed. This is a small fairly cramped little cafe with about 6 tables, the staff owners were pleasant enough but in no way particularly friendly, very few smiles and absolutely no banter. At one point a staff member was sat on an adjacent table coughing and spluttering whilst watching something on their phone. Extensive menu looked promising and prices were very reasonable.. the burger was advertised as juicy and locally sourced.. when it arrived it looked very much like something you’d buy from Costco or Farm stores, very thin definitely not juicy and pretty tasteless. The meal as a whole was OK , very generous portion of chips and salad, which was a mixture of shredded iceberg tomatoes cucumber onion and a balsamic vinegar dressing. We also had an omelette which was OK Drinks wise the cappuccino was average.. the strawberry milkshake however was spot on. Very dog friendly On balance, would I return? Probably not"

"We popped into the Pancake Hut this week whilst on holiday in the area. By day it is the popular tea room at Pinetum Park/Park Lodge Gardens, but on Tuesday to Saturday evenings the cafe becomes a tribute to flat circular foodstuffs! Things start with a wide range of savoury omelettes which, if my salmon and spinach based Florentine is anything to go by, are a feast for both the eyes and the stomach. And then of course there are the pancakes......the idea of which excited the girls from the moment they first saw the signs! Pancake wise the variations go from your traditional basic sugar lemon pancake day variety through to American style dessert pancake stacks. There are plenty of choices, and the proprietors also have no problem if you want to devise your own from the ingredients they have available. Our collective opinion on the food was that it was very good to excellent, and the customer service was excellent all round. Things are a little limited if you want a full three course meal; after all omelette followed by pancake would be egg overload, however I don't think that's the idea of the place. That said there are meal options available for the under 11 year olds, and they looked like good value. However my girls were very happy with yummy garlic bread to start followed by their pancake stacks, and I followed up my omelette with a delicious pear and toffee cake from the Cafe selection. In summary, if you are in the mood for an outstanding omelette or a perfect pancake head over to the Hut....it comes highly recommended!"

"The evening meal we had at Source Kitchen was sensational. Individual sharing plates are served up as they're ready. It's a simple and informal approach but really works well. One of our dishes included raw asparagus, which was a revelation and absolutely delicious. The neck of lamb was also cooked to perfection. Service is relaxed but informative. If you want a special meal out, this place won't disappoint."
