"We went to MX Tapas with a reservation on a Friday night. We were seated right away. The waiter took our drink order which took a while to get. In the meantime another waiter came to take our drink order as well. After getting our drinks we ordered the tapas plate, it took at least 30 minutes to get our food. Food was very good. A friend joined us and order two tacos, that took another 30 minutes. The waiter apologized but offered no explanation for the long waits."

"Wow, I can’t give this restaurant enough praise. Best tacos I have ever had, they use amazing fresh ingredients and make their food look like literally art. If you are considering coming here do not hesitate! The staff were all knowledgeable and caring, you could tell they are passionate about their work. We want to come back into Grand Junction just to eat here again. Keep up the amazing work, you guys are such a special place!"

"We drove back from denver and decided to stop on the way to home. excellent service and eating. posole was made like home. burrito with Chile sauce was delicious and spicy. quesadilla was little soggy, probably from chicken juice, but taste was very good."

"I'm from Chicago where, I think, some of the best Mexican food is found in the US. The food was decent probably much better than the other restaurants based on the reviews and photos I went through. This place had good service, was clean, they took credit cards, outdoor indoor seating, reasonably priced, the food was served quickly. They didn't have ground beef."

"Waitress is super friendly, she has lots of names memorized when regulars come in. Food comes out very fast. The decor looks great in this hole in the wall spot. The food is above diner quality but only a fraction. Moms cooking, don't expect to be wowed, but leave feeling good."
