"Arrived early, and we were greeted by the friendly host, I believe she is also the general manager, 4:30 and waited 5 minutes to get a riverside table for cocktails and appetizers, as dinner service does not start until 5:30. Enjoyed the fried shrimp appetizer, a Kauai Hoki drink as well as a Colada Fresh, all were excellent. Promptly at 5:30 our waitress, Sunny, took our order and refreshed our drinks. We ordered the chowder cup, fish chips and the Dolphin scallop dish. These were all great and very filling. I would recommend The Dolphin to everyone ! Great service and food, the views of the river are amazing. Get there early as lines were steady throughout our dinner, enjoy the drinks, food and views."

"A beautiful restaurant with an amazing view . The brussel sprouts and papaya salad were nice starters. The cocktails were very good. The green curry veggie ramen with spicy miso and ono add-on were spectacular. The broth was amazing. Wife enjoyed chicken donburi. Peanut butter coconut pie to finish was also very good. Service was spotty as the waitress was often nowhere to be found. Drinks from the bar did come out very quickly."

"Great slope! Very funny bar with excellent food and service. Happy hour aftero's big enough to feed at least 2. had also a cup of seafood chowder, excellent with great taste and lots of seafood. Always fun meeting people at the bar. Very recommended!"

"Food was good, could be more flavor but not the worst food ever. Honey walnut shrimp was good and had a nice pineapple twist, kind of hard to mess this meal up. Pot stickers were good but nothing to write home about. Shrimp fried rice was okay, have definitely had better. A gentleman ordering in front of me ordered an item and the price rang up higher than posted price, when he questioned it they said the price had changed then came outside and changed the price. That was not right they should have honored the advertised price for that gentleman. I almost walked away then. Taro boba drink was good, boba wasn't the best. Seems to be lacking flavor. I'm not a kikomen soy sauce fan. I love aloha shoyu soy sauce would be better if they had that brand."

"We miss the house made hot sauce!!! Love the beans and chips here. Tropical Taco, where did the filled house make Salsa? Please bring it back. Cholula's okay, but not the same. Updated: Asked for salsa as we ordered it below and it is the same delicious spicy sauce we remember!! Thank you. Tropical Taco!!! Five stars!!! Worth waiting for freshly prepared food."

"One of the best fish tacos on island! tip...when the fresh fish is gone...they are out ...you want to ensure you get fish.. dont wait until 1 or 2 to go then be upset when they are out. If you eat pork carne those are awesome as well tho. Enjoy!!"
