"THIS IS MY SPOT!!! Freebirds always has fresh ingredients, more options than other 'burrito spots ', and always has amazing service. The manager, Russ, is always hands-on and checks on customers throughout the restaurant. Definitely gets my business any chance i can."

"Back in the day, I was a semi-Bueno Head! New Normal has taken a toll. Went back for the new Nolan Ryan Beef Burger Quesadilla. The photo in their ad made my mouth water! $6.99 is reasonable for a great burger, and my first bite got me excited. As I munched and worked thru it, I began to analyze this new creation. A whole, round burger of good meat, delicious ranch dressing, lettuce, Pico de Gallo, cheese sauce, between pairs of flour tortillas with melted cheese between. It's slips down-hill from there. I tried to hold and eat it by folding it in the paper wrapper. I literally chased that patty right out of its tasty corral. My hands looked like Lucy's feet after she tried making juice for wine. I had to go wash-up before I could get my car keys out of my pocket. Re-design the Presentation! Cut the Patty into 2 semi-circles. Fold each of the pairs of flour tortillas with cheese into 2 semi-circles. Insert the meat into each and garnish with Pico and lettuce. Serve with the ranch dressing in a salsa cup. Or provide a lariat with roping lessons to each customer. See you down the Trail."

"Trevino's is located in the beautiful San Jacinto Plaza on the corner of N Goliad. Unfortunately, it falls flat in comparison to the other restaurants in the immediate area.I dropped in for lunch on a Wednesday and was sorely disappointed ?The chips and salsa left much to be desired, very bland compared to other Tex Mex in the nearby City of Rockwall. This is usually an immediate red flag for me, but I was willing to give it a chance.The lunch menu was small, and I settled on a classic choice of fajitas Normally fajitas are choice of meat ?, rice &beans, and a few flour or corn tortillas.However, Trevino's decided that fajitas should include tons of peppers and onions french fries, and no tortillas. The fajita meat was alright in all fairness, but the portion was on the smaller side and I was unable to actually enjoy it due to the lack of tortillas. French fries were fresh and crisp but again, not really what I expected nor wanted.It's my fault for assuming the fajitas would infact be fajitas, and if I had suspected that I would need to Google translate the menu to get an English description of the food, then I would have and this entire disaster could have been avoided.In the end, after eating the fajita meat, rice, and beans. (And a few french fries). I simply paid and left After 45 mins I realized I was still hungry, and needed to order something else to bridge the gap between lunch and dinner)The service was pretty good. I have no complaints on that. And the unsweetened tea was a bit bland compared to other places, but it was ice cold and wet ?.I simply won't be back."

"Edit: the restaurant issued a refund to my card hopefully if we try it again the service will be better next time. Normally the food is great but today I got home and it was all wrong. They offered to replace it but what am I supposed to do when they tie the bag up completely in the restaurant and it's a 30 minute drive home and a 30 minute drive back. By that time it's already 9pm way past dinner. Just refund my card."

"We had a nice indoor dining experience with Fireside Chicken and Tacos. A clean welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered for our children two three piece Chicken Finger baskets with a side of potatoes that was delicious. The kid's chicken quesadilla was about the size of a taco and could be handled well by my 5 year old. My husband ordered a street combo platter with steak and grilled chicken. It has a side of beans, rice and warm soft tortillas. I ordered the fish tacos that tasted great with the vegetables and a sprit of lime to bring out all the natural flavorings. I did like the hot chips and salsa for the table. The green pepper sauce is a bit spicy. Overall, we enjoyed the evening and would recommend for a large family to be able to find something on the menu to enjoy."
