"Sitting in Mario's right now having a latte for the first time. There is wifi if you ask for their password. Only a small place but the atmosphere really feels like you're in italy even if its freezing rain outside. The coffee is the best I've had in 3years since leaving Australia. The staff are amazing, they greeted me as if they've known me for years. They clearly have a regular clientele. As I sit here, there is a non-stop stream of regulars and the staff knew all their names and orders. In a city full of coffee chains, this family business really is a hidden gem who's regulars would probably want to keep it their delicious secret."

"After a late evening visit at St. Pauls' Hospital, Buddha Boy and I were hungry. It's approximately 9pm and we have not yet had dinner. Not exactly sure what we wanted, Buddha Boy suggested to go for late-night menu at our neighborhood canteen, Rose Garden Seafood Restaurant 嘉好海鮮美食之家.<br/ <br/ Our meal started with a plate of Bean Leave with Garlic Sauce 蒜蓉豆苗. The lightly-salted greens were fresh and crisp with aromatic garlic kicks. A simple and comforting dish done well.<br/ <br/ The Pan Fried Oyster Omelette 香煎蠔烙 was disappointing. The oysters had a foul odor that, to me, seemed like the oysters have gone bad. Buddha Boy thought it could just be something in the pancake mix that threw me off...<br/ <br/ Because we were having plain congee to accompany all the dishes, I allowed Buddha Boy to order two deep-fried items. The first was Deep Fried Pork Chops with Peppery Salt 椒鹽肉扒. While the chili and garlic mix gave the package a savory soul, the pork chops were dry and chewy.<br/ <br/ Buddha Boy's second deep-fried choice was Deep Fried Chicken Joints with Peppery Salt 椒鹽雞膝. Each chunky piece of chicken knuckles had a moist and tender crunch that's delicately coated with a gentle crisp. The finishing blend of chili and garlic did the wonders of beautifying the dish with spicy and garlicky kicks.<br/ <br/ Of course, Buddha Boy must have his staple of Prawns with Scrambled Egg 滑蛋蝦球, his all-time-favorite at this divey restaurant. The creamy and smooth scrambled eggs accompanied by generous amount of sizeable prawns never failed to appease Buddha Boy.<br/ <br/ I have been craving for some Blanched Geoduck Slices 白灼象拔蚌 for a very long time. Though these were previously frozen, it did satisfy my appetite.<br/ <br/ Our Plain Congee 白粥 was complimentary because we ordered over four items from its Night Snack menu. Usually, the Night Snack menu at Rose Garden runs from 10pm to 2am daily. We arrived at about 9:20pm and were given the privilege to order from its late-night menu. But because we arrived early, the rice porridge was not quite ready until almost towards the end of our meal. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit."

"We just finished a two hour movie that took us right to 12:15pm. And unfortunately due to the lateness of its conclusion, we were limited in our late night dinner options. Not wanting another fast food burger we took the drive to “Duffin’s Donuts”. Still fast food, but more than just doughnuts."

"Come here several times for lunch and normally I order the lasagna or pizzas and cappuccino here. I also tried their pistachio gelato which is quite good but small portion. I like the pizza and they have quite a bit of variety of pizza. The nice thing is they cut the pizza smaller portion so you can order variety of pizzas for lunch. Their cappuccino is pretty good also. The place is quite busy but it is a big cafe restaurant. My complaint is they don't have green tea gelato. But overall I do enjoy dine here."

"This is to bring up that this grocery store gave me that wonderful vibe shopping around and a variety of product choices.My only comment goes for the cashiers and staff that act like robots and no feelings.Everytime i go there and come to the cashier no matter how nice I am, I always greet them. They either just nod, smirk or ignore you. I do understand that this year and last year were tough times and I hope that they come to work full of love. I wish that you as the owners and managers have a review of employee 's performances.It 's very uncomfortable with that shopping vibe and ends with mixed annoying feelings these cashiers are giving. Same women and I know their faces. I could name one of the 2. Pamela .It doesn 't hurt to say Have a great day back or you as well, right?Hope this could be a lesson for them.We as customers care about your store. Otherwise you would see them switching to other groceries which would create no jobs for them. You know that.Sincerely,"
