"Me encanta asistir a este lugar los fines de semana por la mañana, sirven desayunos muy ricos, aunque después de visitarlos varias veces ya no hay mucho que explorar, los huevos, el asado, el café de olla, todo esta servido muy bien y a un precio muy accesible, lo recomiendo para las personas que quieren comida "home made".Además el ambiente de lugar resalta el folklor mexicano, manteles, sombreros, música tranquila, etc."

Para mi gusto, el guiso falto de sazón, y FRIO....Yo pedi una especie de hamburguesa rellena de briscket, buena a secas, pero FRIA...Le pregunté al resto de los comensales, que pidieron diferentes tipos de hamburguesas, me dijeron que estaban buenas, pero FRIAS.He de decir que los platillos estaban de buen tamaño.De postre una dona con nieve, aceptable, pero nada del otro mundoYo digo que si en la cocina no tienen capacidad para servir tantas comandas al mismo tiempo, que las vayan sacando a medida que estén listas, para que lleguen calientes los platillos. Sé que ésto va en contra de la práctica normal, pero si no hay de otra.Los precios se me hicieron un poquitin elevados.En resumen, chequen la sazón, y mejoren el aspecto del servicio en la cocina"

El sabor de la tortilla, la carne y las diferentes salsas les dan un toque único, por lo que vale la pena pasar y saborear un par de órdenes para la cena. Son tacos de alta demanda, así que no esperes que te los sirvan de inmediato, pero la espera es recompensada por un delicioso sabor que llena el paladar del comensal más exigente."

"Try “cachete” tacos and stew barbacoa. Fresh hand made corn tortillas with very impressive assortment of authentic hand made salsas. I visit this place several times. Never got sick, quality of food it’s always the same. Fair prices and friendly staff. OMG, I love it!!!....Tip. Cash only. Safe travels."

"I strongly recommend AVOID this place at all costs; If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. Apart from the mediocre food and that they require much more than what is worth the food, they are really incapable. When I told the waiter very quietly Whoops, I randomly charged you $5000.00 $250.00 USD instead of $500.00 $25.00 USD), there is nothing we can do until tomorrow. Now I have to open a fraud case on my credit card, because I will definitely not trust that they can refund my money with the caliber of the staff. WORST SERVICE EVER."

"Maiz dorado is one of the best places I've seen in Saltillo. You don't even feel you are there. Decoration, music and the complete environment is really awesome. I believe it is a place to visit at night. My table was located in a wooden...bridge and it was surrounded by torches. It was really nice. Food is good, but not the best you'll find in Saltillo. I ordered lentils and the skewered shrimp. Definitely a place to visit if you come to Saltillo."
