"We went to undici because it was very close to our hostel rossco. The restaurant is just in front of the santo Domingo church which is fabulous. The pizzas were delicious, the best I had in a 5 months trip in mexico. They cook it in a fire wood oven. We were 3, we took 3 pizzas, 2 bottles of wines and at the end one liquor each... It cost us 800 pesos for all. We had a drink with the owner at the end who was very very friendly. The restaurant is opened since 6 months and I guess they don't know tripadvisor. If you're in need of a pizza please try it !"

"In an unpretentious way, Los Chapulines, located just 100 metres from the St. Guadalupe church in San Cristobal, a few blocks removed from the busy part of Real Guadalupe, offers a delightful array of freshly cooked dishes. I was attracted by pics of Tlayuda, a folded over wrap containing freshly BBQ'd meat and local cheeses. Served crisp and hot with an array of spicy condiments, costing 85 pesos. More than sufficient for even a normal sized adult. Cold beer went well with it. One of my best and filling meals on this trip., Tlayuda, sometimes spelled clayuda, is a handmade dish in traditional Oaxacan cuisine, consisting of a large, thin, crunchy, partially fried or toasted tortilla covered with a spread of refried beans, asiento, lettuce or cabbage, avocado, meat, Oaxaca cheese, and salsa"

"Food delicious! Service not bad. I was charged 25 extra to add spinach to my mushroom omelette. She said it would be between 15-20 pesos extra so it was a little annoying but I didn’t bother mentioning it for the sake of 5-10 pesos more than expected. Didn’t see any server smile ever. It would be really nice to be greeted with a smile but hey I bet they’re not paid so well and they’re not having the best time."
