"It’s been years since I’ve been here. Back when I pulled a reefer I was running through this area a couple times a month and always enjoyed Pappy’s. Yesterday was one of “those” days. Multiple deliveries from Pam Desert going up to Napa. I was tired, hungry, and frustrated. I saw the Betteravia exit sign and wondered if that awesome restaurant was still there beside the truck stop. I was really happy to see Pappy’s still there and open. I parked, called and placed an order. The really nice gal on the phone said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I walked over within 10 minutes and it was ready. The food was well packaged so nothing spilled, a complete set of utensils and a generous amount of napkins were in the bag (the good napkins, too). I ordered the tri-tip dinner with a salad and I ate every bite of it all. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes were real (not instant). The salad was very fresh. I cannot wait to go back through Santa Rosa so I can eat here again. Fantastic place, homey atmosphere, very friendly people, and the best food!"

"Came here and had a delicious brunch with friendly and appealing staff, as well as quite minimal waiting time. Food became decent expensive I had the waffle with fresh strawberries. The waffle was soft and the powder sugar added it well. Sara?s kitchen has been here for a while and it certainly makes sense why!"
