"This tapas style bar is tucked away but well worth seeking out. Tapas style menu with ham saucisson cheeses duck etc. A very good selection of wines by the glass. Try the rose minuty.Good friendly service and great for lunch. We were also privileged to see a really good guitarist playing on the square."

"It's a different place in Sarlat. The restaurant, inside, barely has room for a bar. However, it has a terrace of the most pleasant.He had gone here to eat a fantastic green lemon ice cream that had already tried a few days before, and we decided to stay for dinner.We had a couple of boletus tortillas and a cheese table. Everything was delicious. Drinking, we have a handmade beer from the area called the lutine. "We chose this restaurant for lunch while wandering around Sarlat, no research, just liked the look of the place and the menus on offer. I choose the ‘marche’ menu, 3 courses for 17 euros and my partner chose one ‘plat’ which was a salad with the lot (she loves the ‘gesiers’ . My entree was a huge salad, followed by rolled pork with beautifully cooked potatoes and a creamy sauce, then I had the walnut cake with cream. I could scarcely finish, very generous and excellent food. My partners salad was similarly generous and delicious. Finished with coffees. Good service, couldn’t fault it. Just be prepared for a big feed!"

"Nous venons de dîner dans ce restaurant dans lequel nous étions venus il y a quelques années et qui a l époque nous avait pleinement satisfait ! Ce qui ne fut absolument pas le cas ce soir .Premier point :L empressement plus qu insistant des serveurs à venir vous prendre votre commande , l addition ( qui a la première tentative n était pas la notre , heureusement que nous avons vérifier ! ) apporté Avec le dessert ! Tout ceci dans le but de faire dîner un maximum de personnes durant le service ! Deuxième point : Mon conjoint qui avait commande un croustillant de chèvre à retrouver dans celui ci une mouche morte , l assiette a été changée mais pas réellement d excuses du serveur qui a bredouillé que cela ne pouvait pas venir des cuisines .... et que cela avait sûrement dû tomber dans l assiette.....Deuxième tentative Avec la deuxième assiette , cette fois ci mon conjoint y a retrouver un papillon de nuit ....Troisième point : Aucun geste commercial lie aux désagréments causés à mon conjoint avec les deux assiettes de l entrée ! Nous aurions apprécié des excuses et un petit geste de la part du restaurant, ce que je n ai pas hésité à mentionner à la serveuse du restaurant qui m a dit qu elle n était pas la gérante mais qu elle transmettrait et qu elle comprenait mon mécontentement ! Bref, des plats ni bon ni mauvais , un service digne d une cafétéria de supermarché et aucun sens du commerce !Passez votre chemin et tentez votre chance ailleurs !"

"Downtown Sarlat has many resto's! As every tourist we wondered where to go. This resto is a small family-run business just a few steps a way from the masses. And therefore fairly quiet. A reservation was not possible. So we returned after 40 min. and a table was free. Many regional menus with canard and fois grass. Good food and friendly service. All in all 4-stars. Since once in a while a little smell of the sewer come along. Nothing the resto can do about; smelled it all around the old city."
