"Really disappointing, the menu looked nice and the place looked nice but… we ordered a sourdough toast with poached eggs and halloumi, the eggs were rock solid (which is pretty bad for a place which only serves brunch! so we asked for new eggs, they didn’t take our plate away, we then explained our halloumi would be rubbery and toast/bacon coke the service guy just said “well sorry” and that was that… someone came back 7 minutes later with new eggs, cooked perfectly now, but the toast was soggy and chewy at the same time, the halloumi was like rubber and the bacon was cold. It’s disappointing because it had potential to be so nice, my partner is a chef and it’s really poor to not take the plate and redo it, now if I was at weatherspoons paying a small price I would get over it but when paying £34 for 2 small bits of toast 2 coffees it’s just not okay. Safe to say I won’t be back, staff never apologised or really acknowledged anything, table was also not cleaned, they’d ran out of loads, just overall really poor."

"Came here for a quick lunch with a friend her daughters. Our server was good. Anthony. The food is overall good. Typical franchise restaurant. The guy who brought out my plate didn't say it was an extremely hot plate went to hand it to me I burned my fingertips. I tried to reach grab from where he was holding it it was still extremely hot...I don't know how he held it but we just dropped the plate on the table. He had no holders or anything. I told our server. He apologized...it wasn't his fault. The food I ordered was conch fritters spinach dip for the table. Didn't like the sauce with the fritters . I ordered plantain cups filled with beef. Overall good."

"Amazing decoration! a visit is only worth for the atmosphere, from the music to the mirror ceiling. without a book that had luck when others came after us when the tables were full. only cash, but the personal allows the order before it. to the cash point (a few minutes away, at Co-op). the service is not fast, but it is beautiful and fresh. the toilets were a bit a secret not hard to use ' and different warning signs, and could not find a flush button"

"After a long walk we stumbled over this little gem. a heartwarming hallo sounded when the door opened. we are strangers who are not so used to it. calm down, only when we're gone. great drinks, eating was excellent to share with the antipasti, one must be! all were as friendly as the dogs. so much eat per serving, so they plan not to eat much during the day ahead. I really wanted the chocolate bread and butter pudding, but could not manage it! can not wait to visit again, very soon it is humble to enjoy real ale in a real pub with proper pub eating"

"*dog friendly* beautiful place to stop for a coffee and cake. great lunch card too. the lemon slice had a beautiful tart layer of lemon pulp. I've tinned my covenant. carrot cake was beautiful and icing was simply sweet enough. mandel,- soy,- etc.-milk available so that I had a dark hot chocolate. must see/ stop for detectorist fans. here lance first met his daughter."
