"Tried Peri-peri at Newport Mall at the Resorts World last weekend. Waitstaff were accommodating as I had to wait for other family. We ordered ahead and ask to hold it until everyone arrives. We ordered the group meal with ribs and another group meal with...a whole grilled chicken. And additional orders of salads. Everthing was very good and I can't refrain from comparing it to another fastfood chain offering almost the same group meals, Peri-peri is way better. Good job!"

"It's right along 7th Avenue, at Two Parkade, but if you're not paying attention you might miss it. The restaurant is dimly lit and the facade's colors are too dark. But the food is not bad, not bad at all - and surprisingly the bill doesn't make a dent on one's wallet. It's serving purely Filipino cuisine, but there are some interesting dishes on the menu such as laing cheese pimiento crostini, corned beef kansi, salted egg fried tofu, aligue palabok, and quezo de bola bibingka soufflé. Serving size is just about right too. The restaurant is cozy enough but lighting is dim (note to selfie lovers). Waiting time between placing the orders and serving the meals is long depending on the dish (the meat dishes usually takes 20-30 minutes to), so better order appetizers, or be prepared to wait. The waiter assigned to us was friendly, polite and helpful. We left the restaurant happy and full. We're definitely dining here again soon."

"I am partial to sizzlers because they mean a warm meal. However, I refrain from ordering them because the aroma could stick to clothes.<br>

Sizzling Plate at SM Aura offers many items in their menu, including rice meals, omelettes and desserts. Orders and payments are taken first and customers are asked to wait while their orders are being prepared in the kitchen. The servers wait until the initial sizzle dies down before serving the dish to the customer so there is less chance of getting burned or for the smell to stick to clothes.<br>

On my two visits, I ordered the same thing, Pork Steak Meal which came with pork steak drenched in gravy, buttered vegetables and rice. While I was impressed the first time, I thought that the meat was not as tender the next time. I wondered if that was because the mall was having a 3-day sale and the restaurant was busy. <br>

But I'll probably be back as I want to try the other items on the menu. The restaurant just has to work on its consistency."

"Had my birthday dinner in this restaurant and we reserved the long table near the entrance. We opted to go with their set menu good for people and we added another option of a set menu good for people since we were a...total of in the group. We ordered an additional hot pot just to be able to have some soup with the set meal. Food is good and I particularly liked the dish with the salted egg. Service is also very good"
