"Nice spot across the road form the beach, cafe styled food as well as the option of alcohol, note you can only be seated in a certain zone to drink alchohol. Service was friendly and quick and the atmosphere was relaxing. Worth a visit for a bite to eat and a drink"

"Two of us in for breakfast. One French toast and one eggs on toast with side of mushrooms. French toast was amazing. Eggs poached to perfection. Lovely, welcoming staff and definitely will be back"

"We booked a table for 9 people on a very busy weekend at this restaurant. Unfortunately I made a mistake and booked the Taupo restaurant by mistake. Staff were so helpful and extremely accommodating given it was for our daughter’s birthday and they managed to fit us all in at a table.<br/ The service was great the food came out fast and was very tasty – the portion sizes managed to beat all of us and there were plenty of take out boxes arranged. <br/ <br/ This restaurant was recommended to us by a local (we travelled from AKL) and I would definitely visit again. (making sure I booked the correct location this time)."

"It was a splendid experience dining in Nautilus Restaurant. I highly recommend this place for casual or fine dining. The service is impeccable, the food is superb, and the ambiance of the entire restaurant is quite inviting. Comparing with the rest of buffet restaurants that i have dined in all over New Zealand before, I would rate Nautilus restaurant a 10-STARS if i may. P.S. You get to celebrate your birthday FREE OF CHARGE 7days before or after your actual birthdate as long as you bring two or more paying adults with you."

"Had this all the time when we lived in The Awamutu and loved it, same here for sure. Big open dining area, happy staff and nice and clean. Had lamb kebab and was tasty as and loaded with meat. Wife had chicken chips with salad and was massive as well. Son had chessy garlic bread that was awesome too"

"Great service and lovely food with just one issue that let the experience down for a member at our table. The vegetable sides of broccoli and brussel sprouts were great way to make vegetables delicious! Duck taco, pork belly taco and fried chicken also really good. I was happy with the size of the meals compared to prices and sizes at other Mexican places. Would’ve been 5 stars except a friend ordered the potato chickpea masa taco because it had just 1 chilli beside it on the menu and it was so so spicy it was inedible by anyone at our table. The fried chicken has 3 chillies next to it and everyone could eat it with no problem. So there is something amiss with the seasoning in the vegetarian option which is a shame and hopefully it can be remedied to more accurately reflect the menu."

"Without a doubt our go to place for a coffee date. Not only is in conveniently inside mitre 10, it has a kids playground and the food is always out well before you expect it to be. Service is like no other, the staff are friendly and attentive, there are always so many great options in the cabinet and yummy menu food too. Coffees are hot and delicious. Our fave local coffee stop for sure. Makes taking the toddler out easy when we know we can expect fast, amazing service."
