"Good service with plenty of options. Menu is quite pricey considering there aremany cheaper options close by. Coffee was decent but again quite expensive for a dine in mug of long black. Keen to try items off the lunch menu next time."

"Relieved to know that there's a place in Townsville that serves a solid Malaysian meal. The rendang beef was tender and delicious. The curry puffs were flaky and flavourful. And couldn't go past the Ipoh Hor Fun which had that great wok hei flavour. Finished the night with a superb deep fried ice-cream. Will definitely be back!"

"Ordered the Wagyu Beef Burger with fries and Aoli dipping sauce. Lunchtime Service in the front bar area on a weekday. Counter service attendant was quick to come serve me, but seemed like he didn't enjoy his job. Meal came quickly and the burger was very big. Burger Patty was pink inside, but mostly Luke warm at best. Not sure if it was cooked earlier and heated again, but I didn't like it. Burger tasted alright, but Patty was a bit of a miss. Chips were average to good, but Aoli sauce was bland and a little abnormal tasting. Aoli sauce dish was not clean, so I left it alone. For amount paid, I was expecting a little better quality. Overall, average at best. Will try somewhere else...read more"

"Boring bland western chinese food...with no imagination to the dishes. My wife is Chinese and we are accustomed to Chinese food and the culture. Following a drab interior - akin to a cafe....NOTHING like thre photo, we can only assume that if this is the best rated Chinese restaurant in Townsville - then be wise and eat local and good food on Palmer St.Following the pitiful experience the host then quickly rounded our bill 60% ($30) higher than what is should have been.Stay away."

"The best vegan large breakfast I believe. it has its own thing instead of the regular big breakfast minus animal products add avo and if it is happy grilled tofu. the smoky beans and pumpkin cashew salat were nice supplements."

"My family visited this cafe for breakfast because of the good reviews however, we were extremely disappointed with the service and food. The woman at the front of house and making coffees was rude and unfriendly to my elderly father when he was ordering and when she brought out the wrong coffee for him, was rude to him again and blamed him for ordering wrong (when in fact he hadn’t). I’ve never experienced such rude staff. Then when the potato rosti came out, it was soggy and burnt see photos. It was oily and unpleasant. We will definitely not be returning due to the horrible service we received. There is no excuse for staff to treat customers so unprofessionally."
