"Bodeguita de Miguel is such a refreshing change from the chain restaurants, of which there are plenty in El Ingenio. It's a straightforward place serving pretty standard tapas, at small tables on the top floor of the shopping centre, with good views out through big floor to ceiling windows. Nothing extraordinary on the menu, but if you enjoy good traditional Spanish tapas this is the place for you meatballs/albondigas, Spanish tortilla slices, Russian salad, and more. It's pretty cheap too, and definitely good value, and it's uncrowded as it's not down on the main ground floor shopping area. Definitely a good place to sit down and relax after a heavy session of retail therapy..."

"The food here is good, but not amazing given that it is pricier than comparable establishments. Go only if you are starving and cannot bear the thought of finding another place (which we were). Paella is served only for euros) and is decent....Tapas-sized portions were not available for some reason but the Tortilla espanola was good, as were the gambas al pil pil. Our waiter was unhelpful and brusque, so that definitely detracted from the experience. If you ask for a glass of water, they will bring you bottled water and charge you a lot."
