"Felt ripped off, Order a pasty and a sausage roll with a couple of drinks… was charged an eye watering £19.96. The person behind the till certainly had an eye for the ladies as a woman came in after we did was allowed to jump the queue and only paid a £1.00 for a sausage roll. Felt ripped off and won’t be returning dispute being fairly local"

"Managed to get a table for a walk in no problems, greeted by friendly staff. Food was great! Nice clean restaurant and very accommodating with a young child. All in all a very nice experience"

"This restaurant has moved downstairs from its previous site. The whole place has been given an uplift it is now clean, modern and very good. The food was delicious the paneer tikka was as good as anything we have eaten in India. Waiters friendly and helpful."

"My parents and I decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. All I can say is thank god for her recommendation, I didn’t even realise this marvellous place existed, hidden down Pike Street. Everyone was so welcoming, they moved us from the original table as there was a big party coming in and they said “it might get a bit noisy for you”. For some reason we forgot to order starters but we didn’t need them after the poppadoms and pickles, and in some respects I’m kind of glad we forgot! The mains we ordered alongside some veggie sides were absolutely gorgeous and generous, all three of us struggled to finish. I had the chicken dopiaza which was gorgeous, sweet and fragrant. My parents had chicken bhuna and chicken jalfrezi, along with mushroom rice and egg fried rice, garlic and plain naan. It’s currently 8.35pm and I’m as full and happy as I’ve ever been. What a diamond this restaurant is and the service was timely and impeccable. If I could give more than five stars, I would."
