"We were quite pleased with both visits to this restaurant while on a business trip to Las Vegas. The first night, we ordered our food spicy, and were quite disappointed when it arrived and wasn't spicy at all. The waiter noticed our reaction, came over and talked with us about it, then whisked the food back to the kitchen. It reappeared a few minutes later, and it was deliciously spicy! We were impressed that they were paying attention, and listened to us, and then took care of it. The second night, they remembered us, and our food was terrific. We asked for a recommendation for a shared appetizer, and the dish he recommended was interesting and delicious--definitely something we'd never had before There's nothing fancy about the place, but it's nice, the service is helpful, and the food is very tasty. Just be sure to make it clear to them how spicy you really want it."

"I have visited the restaurant and ordered delivery many times. The past couple of orders, the food quality has not been as good as it once was. Something has changed. Yesterday's (12/11/21) order was the worst ever. I threw away everything except the basmati rice. There are many Indian restaurants to choose from and I doubt I will ever visit or order from Angara again. Disappointing."

"February 2008 Review in Las Vegas Weekly my interest in this new restaurant. I have dined in every Indian restaurant in Las Vegas, just to be used disappointed by the plentiful amounts of oil and sodium in their food. SoCal has several good Indian restaurants; Las Vegas had no one to Mantra Masala. Your menu offers many vegetarian and vegan dishes. I started my meal with tomato soup, Papadam and Aloo Paratha and came with the entree Auberginen-Bharta and Basmati-Reis. The food was excellent, the service attentive. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is beneficial for those who enjoy an excellent Indian meal. I was so impressed by my culinary experience that I have my accusations to the owner, Tapan, who is diligently trying to fulfill my strict vegan needs. Finding an Indian restaurant in Las Vegas that could really prepare authentic vegan cuisine did not exist before Mantra Masala. I dine there at least once a week, and it is now my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I make the highest recommendation without reservation."
