"Everything I've had there was excellent, and the staff are knowledgeable. I love being able to pre-order my loaves of sourdough too. I've had a variety of cheeses and meats, and even experimented with their black garlic. Everything has a top quality taste, wonderful on its own, or combined to make a delicious dish. I'd love to see something like a loyalty or discount card for either purchasing so many loaves of bread, or getting 10% off when purchasing a loaf of bread and 100g+ of meat or cheese. I would definitely use that kind of card!"

"This restaurant was recommended by staff in the hotel we stayed at. When we arrived we noticed that it served Indian and also Nepalese dishes so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did because the food was delicious. We ordered six separate dishes along with starters, and every dish matched or exceeded our expectations. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was served in good time and all in our party enjoyed a great meal topped off with a complimentary Gurkha Rum. Highly recommended!"

"02 October 2019: My original review for this restaurant is below from 6 years ago. Today, I just want to update this review and confirm that this restaurant is as good as ever either eating in or for a delivery. Ordered a delivery last night, it was quick to arrive and the quality and taste were as good as every. 6 Years ago (2013 I have tried many Indian curry houses in Leicester and Birmingham and find the quality of the food at Dhaka Deli excellent and one of the best places. I have used this restaurant consistently for the past 3 or 4 years sitting in and as a take away and there is no compromise between them. The take away service is reasonable as regards to time they are not the fastest. It usually takes up to an hour but the food is always hot on arrival and i'm willing to wait a bit longer for good quality food. Portions are big and the taste is great. I have probably had over 50 take always since using this place and had just one poor quality meal (it happens! . The meals have actually got better over time and they are consistently good. They used to use a lot of ghee/oil which my partner always drained off but that is no longer the case in the past 12 months. If I could give 4 and a half I would only because delivery can take a while but overall I think its nearer to 5 than 4."
