"To make a long story short, steak and shake have gone downhill, but their prices have risen. they must now order on a tablet (waitresses no longer exist), they fill their own drinks, have to stand up and go on the counter when they call their number that they eat theirs is ready, and they need to clean up their table when they are finished. they have changed how they do! eating was good and greasy as usual, but the service was incredibly slow and it does not seem that the staff is 100% focused on the customers"

"The catfish was sweet and crispy, but the walleye had an awesome taste all its own! They say that hunger is the best sauce, but it wasn't just because we were hungry after a long road trip that the food tasted so good! The place is carryout only, and we hauled our dinner back to a motel room to eat. The food was not soggy after a trip across town, which isn't typically the case when you get deep-fried food for takeout. The only item that we didn't enjoy was the coleslaw. It has an odd taste that both of us found unappetizing. The man behind the counter was friendly and helpful."

"Tried Krispy Krunchy Chicken for the first time and so glad I did!!! It is by far the best chicken I have ever had!!! Just enough if a kick but not overwhelming and soooo juicy!!! We also got the mashed potatoes and gravy and it was delicious also. Staff were fast and friendly. We will be making this a regular stop!!"
