"Yeah, sure, we know New Way Lunch has a variety of foods and they do them all well, but who are we kidding? It 's the dogs that matter! We love the dogs, we grew up on the dogs, we proudly stood in a line with other locals and simply said two, works , or four, works and they knew what we meant while out-of-towners looked on quizzically at our rituals. And after an evening out when we were wanting something, all you needed to do was drive by to know that was exactly what you wanted. And when New Way Lunch tried to shed the stigma of the name Dirty John 's and the famous dirt dogs , we kept calling them that, and it was the mark of a true local. So, we 'll give them much respect and agree to call them New Way Lunch , but with love, we 'll never NOT call them Dirt Dogs !"

"We had a group of 6 people for a holiday dinner. We all decided to go with the 7-course dinner with a wine pairing. The food and wine were amazing. We were all happily surprised by the high-quality food and how well the wine paired. My only suggestion is that the staff could be better trained in fine dining methods. Take silverware away and putting new at each course. They did not take any silverware away throughout the courses. The staff is very pleasant and we really enjoyed the story behind each course. We also had one pescatarian that they were able to accommodate."
