"So we went to George's. And haven't been here since back in 2018. Yes, it's been that long. I had ordered the hot turkey grinder with lettuce, tomato and mayo. OMG! It brought back memories. So, here is a little story. My husband is from CT and I was a navy brat. We met in the military. So, when it came time to get out and figure out where to reside. I decided to choose to move to CT. It was all due to food. That was my motivation for moving here. The food in CT is so diverse you don't get this in most states. So, when we first go married and would come to CT to see his family. He brought me to George's the first time and this hot turkey grinder was so BOMB! I couldn't get enough. Every time after when we would come to CT this is the first stop we would go to. George's is what nailed it. I wanted more. And having it again yesterday 12/20/22 they did not disappoint. It is still that good. Also, we had ordered two pizzas one large cheese pizza and one large pepperoni, sausage, hamburger and mushroom pizza. It was both on point too. I can't tell you guys how good their food is. If you haven't tried them you definitely need too. Sorry, we didn't take any pictures because I did only order it to go. But, they do have a dining room area if you want to be served instead of taking it home. We ended up eating the turkey grinder on our way home and finished eating the pizzas when we finally got home to the family. Lol. Couldn't wait. That is really how good it is."

"Everytime I went there (4x), there was alwa a long wait. There's usually 3 people there. A guy in the back cooking other things, and a younger and older lady up front, whom I believe owns the place. I really only want the chicken, but was told that I have to order fries with it. I'm not even supposed to eat fries, but I eat a few to feel like I'm not wasting my money. And they're shoestring fries which but hard. I wished they used the regular fries or wedges. I wasn't allowed to select the parts of chicken I want either. Chicken is already cooked and fries constantly made. Why do I have to wait almost 20 minutes each time? The younger lady won't serve me until the older lady finishes cooking the chicken she's in progress of. The older one has to be the one to cash me out. Why!? The younger lady could cash me out and give me my order, so could be out. As far as the taste of the food the chicken is fresh, but could use seasoning. At least salt and pepper. A little bland to me. The fries are fresh, but usually hard to me. I always hated shoestring fries though. $12 for 3 or 4 pieces of chicken and fries. Service is slow as I said already. The atmosphere is somewhat cozy though."

"Let me start by saying the server Anthony is very nice. As soon as we were in the restaurant, host came and sat us down. Pug needs to be remodeled,and needs more lighting period. The only thing my family and I liked was the picture frames around the tables. Food overall was not good . No flavor at all. The chicken wings were a bit undercooked. The only thing i liked was the burgers. The waffle fries were burnt. I'm sorry but I won't be back. Good luck!"

"If you get the right menu items, like the actual Halal menu, it is really good. The service is generally not fast but they often have a large orders so it takes a while to make all them. Chicken Shwarma Combo. Baba Ganoush. Good french fries. You’re not getting that in a whole lot of places at midnight."

"Drive thru was constantly busy as was the inside. Employee@register was explaining to customers that due to how busy they were, the orders placed would take a little longer time to receive.
