"Zug is the kind of town filled with people that have enough money to not be down-to-earth, friendly, or welcoming, and yet they are anyway. And that friendly, welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere is one of the many things that makes CU Restaurant an amazing place to be. Was the food divine, perfectly prepared, and spot-on delicious? Yes, it most certainly was. I had a perfectly cooked piece of meat the quality of which is honestly hard to find in Europe. Some of my companions had a fish dish, and some a vegan dish, which all won very high praise. But as great as the food was (and it really, really was great), it was the service that will have us coming back. The staff in total was nothing short of exceptional. Every interaction was friendly, accommodating, and nearly always accompanied by a welcome bit of light-hearted banter or outright humor. Our server, was a wonderful young woman named, Tanja (ask for her specifically, you won't regret it!). She was an extraordinary server, in that she seemed to understand instinctively how to interact with each guest to make them feel comfortable. With our group in particular, this was no easy task as our personalities range from stiff and professional down to the kind of guys you would imagine were that evening in a neighborhood bar, not in the fine dining establishment which they were thoroughly enjoying. And yes, Tanja made the evening more memorable for each guest with her astounding, quick-witted sense of humor for some, and her elegance and grace for others. The rest of the staff was great to watch as well, although I didn't have the pleasure to interact with all of them, those that I did were perfect in their service. All in all, great food is a basic requirement for a top-notch restaurant and CU Restaurant delivers perfectly on that point, however a memorable evening is made by the staff as well (for better or worse), in this case it was certainly for the better as our group had one of the most memorable and enjoyable evenings we've had in a very long time. Do yourself a favor and visit CU Restaurant for yourself, you won't regret it one bit!"
