"Decided to try this spot because of good reviews on TA. Saturday morning for breakfast, prior to grocery shopping; good thing we weren 't in a hurry. Might be the longest breakfast ever; an hour in the restaurant for their daily special. They were busy for...sure, but the kitchen doesn 't seemed to be equipped to handle things when they have most of the tables occupied. The meal was good, but the ham my wife ordered was very greasy, leaving everything on her plate really shiny . Mine was not as bad (sausage), real home fries that should have tasted better (potatoes tasted a bit stale), beans good.... although straight from the can (Clarks). Price point is a very good value and we 'll likely give them another shot on a weekday morning when not as crowded. I can see why people may go there for good value and a leisurely meal; it 's homey and casual (loud), with food that 's home style, kid friendly menu, and appears to be accessible. It 's doesn 't appear to be the place to go if you are short on time"

"We had the double cheeseburger deal, and it IS a deal, lots of stuff on the burgers and toasted buns. I just wish the burger patties were kept a little colder or out of sight or something, the raw ones we saw looked odd. They tasted ok though and we enjoyed them but probably won't go again."

"Went here for lunch after outside, cold job. First thing is that it's great a clean up and Reno of dinning room has been done. Way over due. Food always fresh and great tasting. This is our only fast food place we go. Heads and...tails above competition."

"Have ate inside and with the drive thru. Sandwiches and soups are great and wholesome. Love the option of a bakery style restaurant where you can buy fresh breads/pastries. This is a bit pricey, but the food is great and the service is quick (not...greasy food)."

"A nice night out at this place we had been meaning to try, based on friends recommendations. We opted for munchies rather than dinner menu items, since we'd already had dinner at home. The rings were monstrous (albeit hot and freshly prepared. We also...had deep fried pickles, which were a totally different coating, but were very ordinary tasting. The place has a neighbourhood feel to it, cozy, low ceilings, friendly staff. We were in and out for which included decent live local entertainment, onion rings, deep fried pickles, domestic and premium draft (about each), tax and tip. Satisfied overall, and looking forward to trying lunch or early dinner sometime. Hoping that the rumour of a pending ownership change doesn't ruin it."

"Went thru the drive thru ordered a couple meals. Say for a while but food was fresh and warm. Problem was so were our drinks. Warm and flat not worth drinking."

"Comfort food, good portions and very reasonable pricing. Banquet plater are good. Not great but very fair for price. Salads are fresh , no brown witch always turns me off in a salad. Friendly service and lots of local faces. Will definitely be back."
