"Our group of 12 ate here on a Sunday night after 8pm when all other restaurants were closed. It was a good experience sitting indoors. Toilet was clean. Service was prompt though place was busy. You can tell it's professionally run. Beer selection was good. Highly recommended, especially if you need a place at an odd timing without reservations."

"I go there quite a bit and discover new beers on every visit. Wonderful location to chat with friends, and enjoy one of their burgers and crisps! Prices are fair and it's much more central than the Bar in Liebefeld"

"We have not been there for years (I remember it as a smoky old boozer) and wanted to check it out again. Already when entering the place you can see quite a few regulars who must have been propping up the bar for years, the rest of the crowd was rather youngish. The atmosphere was very friendly and warm, a lot of people just seating next to others who were already there and sharing a table. We just devoted ourselves to the Zwickel beer and left out any food."

"I had come for a day trip to Bern, for few hours and just after getting out of the Railway Station, my 5 years old starting crying for food (lunch), I searched on the net and this was the closest Indian restaurant I could find....We walked almost 15 mins to reach the place and it was just off the lunch hours when we reached the restaurant. But the staff was very courteous and they accommodated us and did not close their doors on us, which was a great gesture. They served us A La Carte and all the dishes were well prepared and nicely cooked. After which the owner herself informed us about the places to visit and how to reach there. On the whole a very pleasant experience, will definitely visit them again."

"We wanted to try fondue which cost 37 CHF on the menu. Once we got the bill, we learned that it was 74 CHF instead. Nowhere on the menu it said that the price is “per person”. We’ve been to many restaurants in Switzerland and all the other restaurants always highlight if the price is per person in their menu. Regarding the fondue, we didn’t enjoy it that much. Maybe it’s just us though. Definitely not worth 74 CHF."
